1. Platform Role & Legal Status
SOHHTAK operates strictly as a technology platform facilitating connections between patients and independent, licensed healthcare professionals.
- Not a Provider: SOHHTAK is not a healthcare provider, medical institution, or employer. SOHHTAK does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Independent Responsibility: All healthcare services are provided solely by independent professionals, who are fully responsible for their clinical acts, medical decisions, and professional conduct.
- No Supervision: SOHHTAK does not supervise, direct, or control the clinical judgment or medical decisions of healthcare professionals.
2. Eligibility and Professional Verification
- Age: Users must be at least 18 years old or act as a legal representative for a patient.
- Verification Scope: SOHHTAK verifies healthcare professional identity and licensure (Order of Nurses in Lebanon - ONL, or relevant bodies) based on submitted documents.
- No Guarantee: Verification is a credential check only and does not guarantee specific medical outcomes or availability.
Verification does not guarantee that a healthcare professional will accept a specific request or be available at a given time.
Verification documents may include identification, professional license, diplomas, and curriculum vitae (CV).
3. Payment & Reservation
Payment is settled in cash directly with the healthcare professional upon their arrival. No upfront digital payment is required.
- Booking Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed immediately once a healthcare professional accepts your request.
- Payment on Arrival: Please have the exact amount ready in cash when the healthcare professional arrives at your location.
4. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel free of charge up to 2 hours before the scheduled appointment.
- Free Cancellation: Cancel at least 2 hours before your appointment at no cost.
- Late Cancellation or No-Show: Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in account suspension.
- Healthcare Professional Cancels: If the healthcare professional cancels, you will be notified immediately and can rebook with another professional.
5. Patient Responsibilities and Safety
- Medical Prescriptions: Users must provide a valid medical prescription when required for the requested healthcare service, in accordance with Lebanese medical regulations. Prescriptions are shared directly with the healthcare professional and are not stored or collected by SOHHTAK.
- Safe Environment: Users must provide a safe and respectful environment. Harassment or unsafe conditions may result in immediate termination without refund.
- Communication: After booking confirmation, communication between patients and healthcare professionals occurs directly via phone or WhatsApp. SOHHTAK does not monitor, store, or record these external communications. Users share contact details at their own discretion.
6. Medical Disclaimer
SOHHTAK is a digital platform that connects patients with independent licensed healthcare professionals.
SOHHTAK does not provide medical care, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
All healthcare services are performed independently by licensed professionals who are solely responsible for their clinical decisions and the care they provide.
SOHHTAK does not supervise or control the medical judgment of healthcare professionals.
SOHHTAK is not an emergency medical service. In case of emergency, users must contact the Lebanese Red Cross or go to the nearest hospital immediately.
SOHHTAK does not guarantee the availability, acceptance, or clinical outcome of any healthcare service requested through the platform.
7. Data Protection
- Data Privacy: SOHHTAK complies with Lebanese Law No. 81/2018. Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. SOHHTAK does not collect or store medical records, prescriptions, or payment information.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon. Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Lebanese courts.
